On 5 June 2026, our Changkat Changi Secondary School proudly celebrated its 60th Anniversary at Our Tampines Hub Festive Plaza, marking six decades of excellence, growth and service to the community. The celebration brought together students, teachers, parents, alumni and members of the public for an evening of performances and interactive activities that showcased the school's vibrant talents, rich traditions and strong community spirit.
The celebration began with a warm welcome from our confident student emcees, who guided the audience through the programme with enthusiasm and professionalism. The Concert Band opened the performances with an energetic selection of musical pieces, setting a festive atmosphere for the evening. This was followed by an impressive display from the Boys' Brigade, whose stirring bagpipe and snare drum performance captivated the audience with its precision, discipline and ceremonial flair.
The celebrations continued with performances by the Chinese String Ensemble, whose elegant melodies reflected the school's appreciation for its cultural heritage. The audience was then treated to lively and colourful performances by the Malay Dance and Modern Dance groups; each demonstrating the students' creativity, dedication and countless hours of practice. Every performance highlighted the diverse talents of our students and the commitment of teachers and instructors who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to prepare them.
The celebration concluded with an engaging quiz segment that invited members of the public to participate, thereby creating a lively and interactive ending to the event. The active involvement of everyone within the space of the Festive Plaza reflected the strong partnerships and school spirit that have shaped the school's journey over the past 60 years.
The 60th Anniversary Celebration was a memorable occasion that honoured the school's proud heritage while celebrating the achievements of its community.
